Where do you buy your electronic components from?

Got a qoute from them yesterday, very good pricing I am ordering the batteries from them still R80 each so not the cheapest out there, but feels like the cheapest I could find online locally.
Is it their own brand of do they stock panasonic/Sanyo etc cell's..?

Insanity setting in? I hope so.
I can tell everyone to get ****ed.
Purple, punk, blek, white, red,
Work motherfuckers. Don't steal... looking at ANC here......

I asked for Samsung, that's what they qouted me on.

No stock, ETA is 4 weeks.

I placed an order anyway so will check the quality when they arrive.

Been looking at doing some projects with 18650, got most of the electronics from BangGood, eyeing these cells at dirt cheap but didnt buy any yet:

Those cells are fake. We have a guy on other forum I am on that bought them last week. They are 900mah.

So - group buy Welder and 18650 batch :)
Is there already a thread on buying good 18650 cells somewhere?

(really want to fix some laptop battery etc... only 1 cell bad I reckon)

I want to reverse engineer the Ratel 860P and manufacturer my own.

As far as I can tell (might rip open my geezu or the cheaper one I got the other day).

It's simply:
18650 x X
(???)
Lithium Charger x X
(https://www.banggood.com/USB-Lithiu...And-Protection-p-924048.html?cur_warehouse=CN)

Buckboost-output with selector x 1
(???)

Might end when I find each part

CASE? (possibly the hardest part!)

I get anything I want from here:

Used to be good back in the Archimedes days. Lately though it feels like they have all the types of parts but with some components missing in between.

Just be careful with laptop batteries. The BMS might detect if you remove the cell and shut itself off irreversibly.

Not all of them do this, but enough that you need to be careful. I looked into it a few months ago and concluded that it was less hassle just to replace the laptop battery, and scavenge the old battery for good cells to use in other projects.

If I order from banggood what shipping option is best/fastest?

Also :
Why cant you order batteries from them?

Any recommendations on what Spot Welder to buy and from where (in Western Cape).

I want to build some lithium ion battery banks and will mainly use 18650 cells so need a small spot welder to put the nickel strips on.
Did you find anything? Or did you want to go halvsees on a sunkko :)

You find the 18650s and Nickel and I'll find the welder (not actually joking... unless you are...)

What other projects? Just mainly looking to justify buying a sunkko myself :)

Ps: opened up a cheap lithium UPS (700zar one from geewiz. Has 2x 12v and 1x 5v output. Surprised it seems to be a custom board!
