To say you "don't care" for something can also mean that you don't like it rather than not giving a s**t.
 
Down here in the Republic we don't have JCW or JR so can't comment on them.

Redi is a class act, fears no one and is always more than well researched. But now that the North have stolen her we have Africa Melani for the whole week, every morning. :cry:

Leigh Bennie ( ex Big Brother... ) is outstanding.

But the best are kept for the weekends, Eleanore Moore on the Bandstand followed by Gary van Dyk on Jazz.

The Leadsa thing is getting up my nose though - enough with all the self-righteousness already.
 
I really enjoy and respect John, Redi, Bruce and Chris.

I cannot stand JCW at all! Makes me want to vomit so I switch to music when she is on.

I really don't see why people are making such a big issue about the SANRAL thing. Very short-sighted IMO.

It clearly highlights their hypocrisy. They were very critical of the whole e-tolling thing at first. They pointed out it's flaws and even at one stage were encouraging people to reject the system.
Then all of a sudden the SANRAL advertising went full tilt with the presenters themselves doing the voice work.
From that time all of the criticism regarding the e-tolling disappeared.

They're quite possibly the most hated company in SA (Maybe even beating Telkom).

I still hear John Robbie criticise the e-tolling almost daily. The sanral advertising is just like every other advertising spot on the radio. They sell the airtime to make money and don't have much of a choice what the advert contains.
 
I wonder what would happen if SANRAL ads started appearing on MYBB.
 
Primedia are slaves to their advertisers.

I don't listen to other radio stations but I'm sure their ads could not possibly be more puerile.

you strike me as a JCW listener, no? I don't know how Bennie can be boring, she's only an anchor and doesn't need to do much more than lead the shows she presents. Unlike the others.

Good heavens, I really dislike JCW. Too shallow! But then again, she has her followers and we have the choice to turn the dial elsewhere.

That is hardly the topic of this post!

Think again: I do not dislike women. Radio has very little female talent.

In the line of journalism, I prefer Christiane Amanpour, Michelle Goldberg, and so on.
