Where is Jason from Elitehost?

I am sort of new to this forum. I always use the forum for valuable info but only joined today. Sadly my first post is a "whine"...:(

Research through this forum led me to choose elitehost as my service provider a few months ago and I was extremely impressed with the service up until about a month ago. I was so impressed that I even referred clients to elitehost as I had faith in the support that was offerred by Jason.

However, sadly, this has changed and I have been struggling to get assistance from Jason for quite some time. To make it worse my client also can not get hold of him and of course contacts me everytime they fail to make contact with him.

Can anyone shed any light as to what exactly is going on at elitehost? Are there any other people with the same problem? I have used all of the contact details I have available (including this site member profile contact details) to contact Jason but to no avail. Unfortunately there is no telephone contact details for elitehost on their site.

I would appreciate it if anyone can advise on their experience with elitehost recently?

hmm, we also use Elite Host for our hosting. Never had to call them yet...but isn't the owner a Mr. J. How Kow?
 
Yes the owner is Jason How Kow. I must admit I had really excellent service from him previously but it seems that he is no longer available to assist his clients. I have tried regularly to contact him over the last 3-4 weeks and I think I had a reply once and then no more. My client also tries and it's a bit emabarrasing for me that I recommended his service and they have only had trouble in locating him.

I have recently signed up with another service provider (because of the trouble experienced with elitehost) and I am seriously thinking of moving my account from elitehost to the other provider.
 
What about Afrihost? Since they are so good in the bandwidth arena, and they made their name as a Hosting Provider?
 
Thanks - I am currently looking at them and Texo as alternatives to my elitehost account.

We have been trying to resolve a host of issues with elitehost for nearly a year.
We went through their official contact points and they reply when they feel like it, then their response does not address our issues and concerns..
We are just fed up with them and we are more than willing to move our domain names from them and cease to carrying on using their hosting service. But they are not releasing a domain name we registered through them and still paying them for yearly.. Now its quite obvious why they dont provide a telephone contact point, so they cant address issues in a timely and effective manner.. If Jason or the owners do not get in touch with us immediately we will make sure and provide evidence of all our communications with elite host on all major social media channels so other people can see how they treat some of their customers..

Must say I am getting very good support and quick replies from Elitehost lately. TBH some issues would be resolved a lot quicker if they had tel support but they have helped even when the problem is not related to them - either my stupidity or ISP issues.
