Have the fronx as a second car. And up here in Gauteng with the air nice and thin ( that robs power) and no need to drop a gear.
If you used to the VAG turbo models doing 0 to 100 in 5 seconds and doing 160 kmh between robots , a NA car will not work for you.
 
Get a Honda Jazz or a Honda Fit

Or...
Get a Yaris 2018 XS and newer

You would loose money with BMW, Mercedes and Volvo, unless you find a nice 2016 and newer B Class Mercedes. They are very nice. If in Cape Town, service it at MBG in Brackenfell.

Opel is dead. I wont buy one.

He's still driving my car :( but is moving into his own place this month so he'll have to make a decision soon.

Playing his cards close to his chest but I'm keeping a watch on this thread. You guys know what you're talking about.

Please don't make your male relative drive an Spresso, there is just something about it that annoys other males on the road, I know because I get impure thoughts every time I see one on the road.

when he asks to extend the loan car to his new residence you will realize he now owns a nice golf 7...
 
The Fronx accelerates much better than the old Hyundai Accident (Accent), which took upto 17 or was it 22 seconds from 0-100. Clarkson abandoned one while testing.

Neither would loose him money. Jazz actually tends to sell for more than what you paid for. The Yaris keeps value well.

There is a difference between a wanab kid racer splurging a few hundred K on a Subaru WRX or BMW only for it to loose half or more than half its value in 2 years, while guzzing fuel etc, compared to buying a more sensible car with little to no financial loss.

But thats why I own 5 properties now, and you own how many? or still renting?
