The nice thing about a Hybrid is it is generally best of both worlds.Tks Fiesta think the Civic is one of the cars he's looking at.
REALLY surprised at you mentioning a hybrid. I haven't followed the other hybrid threads but thought reliable electricity was a problem.
Petrol (gas) engine for the bulk of your mileage & a small electric motor for limited EV range. If your daily commute falls in that EV range you can effectively drive “for free”. Small battery means it charges relatively quickly. If you choose not to charge or it gets depleted it’s just a normal ICE vehicle.
There are other big benefits in the 1st world countries like less emissions = big tax breaks in SA sadly not.
