I have plenty of level 80's and now I'm in two minds....

I'm stuck between my Druid and my Warrior since I haven't played them that much yet. The plus would also be that I can instant queue for anything with those 2.

What class would you like to rush into Cataclsym with and why?

My druid has everything needed to hit Cataclsym HARD!!!
Herbalism + Alchemy (Maxed - Going to be a Gold fest when Cataclsym hits)
Epic flying (Instant flight form)
Healer/DPS (Instant queue for dungeons)
Cooking (Maxed)

Well not that much gold now but I can change that before the release date.

The warrior would be brilliant too but he lacks in a few things I feel I could get more benefit from like:
No Epic flying (Spent 1000's of gold leveling Engineering)
Engineering + Mining Maxed (But making gold off engineering in Cataclysm I don't see happening)
Tank/DPS (Would be good for instant queues, but do I really want to tank dungeons I don't know? :D)

Anyway, which toon of yours will you level and why?

I don't have all the classes, but I have the following:

80 Warrior (Tank/DPS specs)
80 Rogue
80 Paladin (Tank/DPS specs)
80 Warlock
74 DK
44 Shaman
30 Priest

My choice will be the Warrior, on the 3 classes I have tanked it is my favorite tanking class, even though most Warrior tanks complain they can't handle ranged thread, I handle it just fine on the Warrior. It is also my favorite class at the moment in general for DPS which is what I have been raiding as of late, on top of that I prefer melee classes in general, though the paladin is just not fun as either dps/tank, and the rogue can do only one thing, dps and play hide an seek in pvp.

As for not knowing the instances while tanking, just go Tankspot's Youtube channel "ZAMOfficial", they have previews of most of the instances in Cataclysm which detail the abilities of all the trash pulls, bosses ect and how they handled them, except for Deadmines heroic which well seemed VERY buggy at the stage, they literally had a GM rezzing them the whole time.

Here is a ZAMOfficial instance movie example:

When I am bored, I watch these movies on my TV, XBMC beta10 has an amazing youtube plugin, makes life just so easy.

Funny thing is,

I am one of very very few Gnome warriors on my server, I could chase the Realm first achievement if I do play my warrior. But I'll be losing out on the crucial first few weeks of gold heaven if do level my warrior vs my Druid :o

Ty for the links, viewing them now :)

Although my loladin is only 71, I am getting a level a day.

The plan for Cata:
Hit 80
Max J/C + Mining
Transfer back to horde
Become a COWadin!

level A mage, they are free gold as there are not portals anymore, you can just stand in city and see your money goes up lol

i will level my dk as still need to tank for my guild.

and then use my mage for gold lol

Awesome!

Gardening service didn't pitch up so I am outside for the day. I did the RAGE! thing yesterday so I have time tonight and tomorrow night and the weekday offer sounds brilliant! Thanks a ton!

Pleasure.

Gold is gold, you can always make it or buy it, my choice is based on which character I enjoy the most, not really about what gold or achievements I get.

Which server are you on? My main is a Gnome warrior (male though). I'll chase 85 with him first as dps and tank. :) Warrior tanking is loads of fun to me. :)

Ill be taking my mage first. Yeah, Im a sucker for punishment.

Getting my mage to 77 with Heirloom gear is by far the hardest leveling I have ever done in my life. I'll get him to 80 But doubt he'll get 85 for the next year or so..... They're just nasty nasty nasty to level :o

Bronze Dragonflight

I'm on Scarshield Legion. :)

This time I will help. :) Queue random dungeon's ftw!! ;)

I play very little now as you know, so I'll most likely be on at times you are online. :) Hopefully we can level better together.

Here is a youtube link with all the videos you will need to watch.

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=3B53B71E1AE90566

Some of them are from Cynical Brit, funny guy, playing a troll mage and very good explanations.
The others are from ZAMOfficial, which mostly features Aliena from Tankspot, german girl playing a bloodelf priest.

The queue also have them in the order you will play them, from WoWwiki:
Code:
1. Blackrock Caverns, level 80-81, located inside Blackrock Mountain, with agents of the Twilight's Hammer
2. The Throne of the Tides, level 80-81, in the Abyssal Depths of Vashj'ir, located deep within the Abyssal Maw
3. The Vortex Pinnacle, level 82-84, in the Skywall above the southern sea of Uldum, set on platforms in the sky
4. The Stonecore, level 82-84, in Deepholm above the Throne of Earth
5. The Lost City of the Tol'vir, level 85, in the center of Uldum, an outdoor dungeon
6. The Halls of Origination, level 85, in the large eastern temple in Uldum, a new Titan-themed dungeon with Brann Bronzebeard
7. Grim Batol, level 85, on the hill overlooking the Wetlands in Twilight Highlands, an old Dwarven city utilized by Deathwing

Tell me about it. I started with my mage at the same time as J0n0. No matter how many hours I grafted, I couldnt keep up with the blighter. I was so despondent. It was only later I learnt how easy it is to level with plate and mail, and that just because 3 of a 5 man team need to be dps, doesnt mean ull get more dungeons if ure dps. I remember spending a weekend before the new LFG system... waiting for one deadmines run.

Yeah, now that we know wtf we are doing :D We were clueless back when we were littler gnome`s.

I'll push my mage to 85 first so that he can start raiding asap.

Then I'll level my Priest and then mah rogue :)

Without hesitation, my hunter will be up to 85 first!

There after, my paladin (prot / ret), then one of my healers, not yet sure, either Shaman or Druid, then my warlock, then my other healer, then my warrior, then either priest or rogue (only two which currently aren't 80).

I'll be leveling my warrior to 85 first then priest

Druid (resto)/Paladin (prot)/warlock/hunter/shaman (resto)/Priest (disc)/dk
