First I signed up with RAIN LTE, but the "peak-time" was really annoying.

Bit the bullet last month and signed up with Atomic Access Fibre. They're a small company (for now) and so the service is really personalised and the pricing is good. Super happy with them.

Telkom fibre because of price with landline phone included.

I also mistakenly thought it would make the transfer from Telkom LTE easier...

I use afrihost as i had an account with them before and connection was seamless.

Telkom Mobile, because of the great Uncapped LTE deal that I use at home.

I use Cape Connect. I went with them as they covered our complex where we live but most importantly, A 5MB fibre and and down unshaped and uncapped for only R285 p/m. You can't beat that

Was already an Afrihost LTE subscriber - so was the easiest choice for setting up FTTH on Vuma.

Afrihost - use them for VDSL at home. and as additional mobile data via MTN.Just convenient to have all the services with one provider.

Webafrica has a decent ADSL package in my price range, not much reason beyond that. I've had mixed results with their Customer Care line, sometimes the service is excellent, sometimes it's non-existent.

Afrihost, all hosting, mobile & fixed in one place. Quite competitive cost wise and mostly good support.

I use RAIN. It is the only ISP with a almost decent reception in my area. OK.. I am not out somewhere in the wild, I am actually in Pretoria. All the ISP's claim LTE and LTE-A in my area but the truth is I dont even have a proper voice signal. The beloved Telkom tower is about 300 meters from my house and I have a reception like the wind. (Not so fast but so seldom).

We want to find out which ISPs MyBroadband’s forum members use at home, and why they selected this ISP.
  1. Please vote in the poll about which ISP you use at home.
  2. Please tell us why you selected this ISP.
Your feedback is really valuable to us.
Pricing is competitive and excellent service

My experience with Axxess has for the most part been great. About 3 years ago, I did move to another house and had the crappiest time with the connection, ended up driving me to Telkom, which oddly enough wasn't the worst experience I've ever had with Telkom, in fact consistent speeds for the most part. And cancelling my ADSL eventually when I went back to Axxess for the fibre was also not a nightmare.

So kinda a good review for both from me on that part.
