Which online/SMS prepaid electricity payment services have you used? Experiences?

We've used energy.co.za for quite a while now, but we're looking for a service that accepts debit cards or EFTs.

Here are some of the sites selling prepaid electricity:

http://www.energy.co.za/
http://www.easypay.co.za/
http://www.prepaidelectricitymeters.co.za/
https://www.ipay.co.za/iPayConsumer/
http://electricity.npay.co.za/ (this seems to be down at the moment)

_da.

Hi,

You can try SWAP Mobile also. Dial *130*1313# (free call), and register for free. Add your meter number (to have it validated), and either EFT, add a bank account, or link a credit card. Nothing can be more convenient than buy elec from your phone IMHO.

I wished PE had more convenient ways of buying pre-paid electricity.

We have to find the odd petrol station or Spar etc. that sells it.

Thanks for the info.

EasyPay

I have used EasyPay for several years to pay Johannesburg Municipality, Telkom and SABC-TV.

Thus far I am 100% satified.

It also gives me minor pleasure to get a month's credit and to receive loyalty points ... :)
