Spar, because it is convenient.

Drive past two on the way home and then I have a choice between shoprite and spar as closest to home (20 minute drive to either).

Spar is faster in and out due to parking, walking distance and tills.

Checkers and Pick n Pay. Little bit of Spar. Woolies only for individual items.

Food Lover Market for bacon.

Checkers whenever possible followed but the local Spar if I forgot to buy something when I was at Checkers.

Spar - Most of my **** excluding fish, milk and hair products
Dischem - Hair products
Woolworths - Jersey milk
Fishermans - Fish

Then whomever has stock of maple syrup. haha.

All the shops I mentioned is closets excluding fishermans and of course places like kings meat deli.
I meant I go to the 1st shop from origin. If its Office its PnP, if its from my brother its checkers. Friend = Spar and home it Shoprite. We do buy groceries from Hyperama*

IE: No brand loyalty. Petrol price to high for that crap :D

Edit: *Sorry President Hyper is apparently OK.

Checkers for eBucks, but also they have the nicest stores other than Woolies (especially the new Checkers stores). Spar is just too expensive and PnP sucks and should be shut down.

Sure, which makes totally sense

PnP is just around the corner from me, recently renovated/upscaled from a small PnP (not sure what the type is, like a KwikSpar almost) to a PnP that stays open till 7.
Literally 300M away. Very nice. Monumentpark Spar is the nearest Spar to me, Checkers and Shoprite not on my radar even.

I wonder how different the outcome would be if the question was which supermarket chain would you support were you not influenced by your bank's rewards program.
