Absolutely nothing.. their bananas go ripe quite quickly, actually..
Fair enough

It's just weird to see their tomatos last a month on my kitchen counter unlike Checkers/PnP lasting 2 weeks, as an example. All their fresh products lasts ages.

Pretty sure this is a repeat...

Woolies for produce

Spar because both a pleasant experience and decent range.

PnP in extremis

Checkers: Not even once. If I wanted to experience Hel, then sure.

Checkers first, then PnP, Food Lovers, Woolies

One of the reasons they are my primary shop.. food lovers is the absolute worst though.. fruit and veg would be rotten and mouldy within two days of bringing home.. across all branches..

Mine would be the same. We have Checkers, PnP, and Woolies in the same venue. Checkers has the best food, friendliest staff, and best prices. Woolworths also has friendly staff and good produce - the selection is limited though. PnP is just plain over priced and the staff are at best mediocre.
Fair enough.
We've actually split our shopping now; Checkers for most of the supplies, meat we get from a butchery.
Odds and ends is anywhere closest, typically Woolies.

I was pleasantly surprised with the willingness of the Checkers' butchery to prepare pretty much anything I needed on request. It's been a while since I went to an actual butcher.

Viva pesticide sprays, for the win

That's because @Nick333 the butcher knows you're a mod on MyBB.

When I was earning ebucks, I only went to checkers. Now I have Absa rewards so I only go to Woolies/PNP.

Checkers for staple goods
Woolworths for fruit and vegetables

Food Lovers for nothing

Monthly Shopping we would mostly use Checkers or Pick & Pay, but for a quick thing or two it would be Woolworths or Spar. Woolworths is just 700m away from the house so easy access. Take a walk there buy some things and a chocolate or two and not feel guilty by eating it on the way home.

Which ever is nearby and cheaper than woolies. I work in a mall and near to woolies than Foodlovers or checkers. So it always between foodlovers and checkers. Only when woolies have a special on the chicken ( the best Rotisserie chicken, The best boerewors) to mention a few of my favourites.
