Which VPN do you use?

I bought Kaspery VPN. It works very well for me! I use their virus protection so paid R450 for it and it works like a bomb.

Used to use Unotelly for Netflix. Stopped after the blocking issues...
Going to try out some of the suggestions from here...

Just remembered that we do have a VPN at work: Pulse Secure, which connects to our own company servers internationally.

Tunnelbear - Gives you free 500mb per month and 1gb if you tweet for them. the paid version is competitive.

VPN? Honest people have nothing to hide ;-)
Would you feel comfortable logging into your online banking via a public hotspot, knowing your details may or may not be intercepted by a nearby would-be thief?

You may not have anything to hide but a VPN is more than just 'hiding' your online activity

I use Hotspot Shield VPN - FASTEST, most reliable and secure. Although it is quite pricy but the BEST I have ever used.

If your bank uses plaintext HTTP you've got problems...

VPNs limit me too much and are too obs.

I use proxifier+ssh tunnels. I use the plural because my tunnels go to different places depending on the application running. Say you wanna be untraceable as possible. Proxy chain through Iran and Israel. If someone wants to catch you they gotta get both those law enforcement agencies working together.

If I just want to game or stream, then I can pipe my game and OBS through another tunnel that goes directly to a server that breaks out near the datacenter that hosts my game (better routing, ssh is normally prioritized.

Many forms of VPN can be intercepted, and its obvious you are trying to hide your traffic with them. So generally I do not use them.

People can intercept your traffic if they control the AP. IE. Wifi Pineapple.

This. Also I used online banking as an example but there are still a lot of sites out there that do not use HTTPS

The https can be stripped or impersonated, so yeah, vpn at a public wifi spot is almost essential.
