Which VPN do you use?

Don't use a vpn...

Anyone care to share the benefits?

Region unlocking (for all that good international content) and privacy/security (masking your physical location/personal IP address) are reason enough for the R50-R100/month a decent service will set you back.

Used VPNs for some better latency in online gaming like WTFast, although with our connections becoming better, I could not see any difference in latency when using these.
For work, VPN between home and office was crucial. Used OpenVpn for years.

Yes, Private Internet Access, cannot comment on support, never needed it. Speeds are good. Tray icon with option to choose where to connect to.

Hmmm, forgot about my work VPN. But that is just a plain old Windows VPN. My previous company used to use Fortigate's VPN solution

Hotspot, even though it still leaves digital tracks-its free...HideMyA$$ is recommended, but you pay for it

I could use a VPN however i need either a static IP or a DDNS service, either way you still need to pay an additional premium for this.

I have used openvpn extensively for many years. Love it. Have also used L2TP/IPsec, Forticlient where customers demand these.

VPN has become a necessity. I do banking in public places and I do not want somebody sneaking on my traffic.
I use Nord as it has plenty international servers and it can show my ip as local for certain traffic.

I use my mobile data for banking outside home. Never use public wifi.
