Are the different editions (Christmas/city exclusives) different to one another?Cheers. A rather delightful dram, keen to try the Christmas edition nowView attachment 1253300
Yes, all the editions are quite different. The 2016, my favourite, had whisky from every active distillery on Islay. I'm not a fan of the 2018. I had the 2019 edition recently and that was quite a treat as well. Are the different editions (Christmas/city exclusives) different to one another?
I have the Cape Town exclusive and it's... OK?
Yeah although I'm like 90% sure it's mostly Caol Ila, when you taste more Caol Ila you start to realize how much of a chameleon Islay Caol Ila is. I actually prefer it to Ardbeg 10, it's a great peated whisky.I get a lot of young Ardbeg in it.
