Hey guys a friend of mine inherited some bottles from her dad and was wondering they are worth anything. You guys have an opinion? (Throwing in the cognac because I am lazy to see if there is a brandy/cognac thread feel free to ignore it)

Unfortunately not worth much IMHO. These are in abundance on the internet and not really considered collectable be serious Whisky collectors.

If you browse to some local Whisky "auction" sites, these types of things are all you see and they do not seem to sell.

See here:

Mostly tat...

If that Dimple Royal Decanter was silver, it may have attracted some attention, but those are pewter and not worth much.

These are just my opinions based on some experience.

As this is the internet expect others to arrive and tell you everything I said was nonsense...( but it is not ).

The truth is being spoken above.

See they have a Land Cask version as well, sounds interesting. Anyone tried it?

I bought both last week but haven’t tried them yet.

Not much of a colour difference, land cask is slightly darker.

William Grant and Sons - so the Glenfiddich guys. Cool. Definitely coloured then, and I'm not through the video yet :p
