There is no ambassador store in the US...and his buddy talks about being in Texas.

Absolutely delicious...Malt, hay, cream and sharp fruit. Crème brûlée, apples on palate. Oily finish....again Waterford knocks it out the park.

Picked up this afternoon from local checkers, priced as R525 on the shelf, scanned as R450 when I swiped savings card. Needless to say I am pleased.Saw this at Checkers now for R524 I think it was.
Inchmurrin Madeira Finish
Inchmurrin is the single malt produced at the Loch Lomond distillery. This release is matured in ex-American oak barrels and then finished in casks that were previously used for making fortified Madeira wine. Bottled at 46%. Glenmorangie, has today announced the launch of a new single malt Scotch whisky, specially created for mixing.
X by Glenmorangie (40% ABV) is a non-age-stated expression, which has been matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and new char oak casks.
X by Glenmorangie, which has been created with top bartenders, is sweeter and richer in taste, making it perfect for tall, simple serves.
This latest release from the Highlands based distillery, is said to deliver notes of pear, vanilla, honeysuckle, orange sherbet and chocolate fudge.
Commenting on the news, Dr Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation, said: “X by Glenmorangie came from our dream of creating even more flavour possibilities, with a single malt that’s made to mix. Consulting with top bartenders, we crafted this sweeter, richer single malt for all those enjoying mixing at home.”
X by Glenmorangie, will be available from May 1st, from Clos19.com, Amazon and whisky specialists, for a RRP of £30.00.
