For those that maybe don’t know, a beastie to a Scot is the same as a gogga to a South African.

So Sea Cask is as disappointing AF. Not terrible, just bitterly disappointing. There’s a maritime note there that makes me think about a rock pool when the tide has gone out and has baking in the hot sun for a bit.

Then there some sweet fruits and vanilla but unfortunately for the group such as this in the know, the E150 comes wafting through. I’ll leave the Land cask for another time. Far better samples to try.

Inchmurrin Madeira Finish

Inchmurrin is the single malt produced at the Loch Lomond distillery. This release is matured in ex-American oak barrels and then finished in casks that were previously used for making fortified Madeira wine. Bottled at 46%. Nose: Fresh citrus orange giving way to almond marzipan and nutmeg...
