So how was the Teachers? Can anyone comment on Teacher Highland Cream?
I'm in Zambia and it's by far the cheapest whisky in Pick n Pay. Like R145 a bottle whereas the next cheapest is the no name stuff like C&J at R200 :wtf:
I'm going to buy some obviously, just wondering if anyone drinks it regular or has a comment on it?
Erm, when I went back they magically had 3 Ships 5 year old for the same price so I bought that instead because I really enjoy itSo how was the Teachers?

You should get a bottle and try it. If you dont like it its not that much money. I must say I enjoy it so much that it might become a problemErm, when I went back they magically had 3 Ships 5 year old for the same price so I bought that instead because I really enjoy it![]()

I'm busy enjoying Wild Turkey. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it yet.
Cracked open the three ships 10. Light peat on the nose and palette. Really enjoying it.
Do you not try a new whiskey in the parking lot of the liquor shop after buying it??????Just bought a bottle of 10 year Talisker (Isle of skye). But more expensive than I usually buy but why not. Sadly won't get a chance to try it until next weekend :/
Haha was tempted to crack it open when I got home just to try, but going to Oktoberfest tmw so decided to save the liver the extra punishmentDo you not try a new whiskey in the parking lot of the liquor shop after buying it??????

Thanks very much. Think I will skip the Glenbrynth and rather get the Auchentoshan and a bottle of the old Black Bottle. The Auchentoshan 12 is very nice, easy drinking and nice subtle flavours. Bear in mind that Auchentoshan is triple distilled so it's a bit lighter in flavour compared to standard scotch whisky. Skip on the Glenbryth, you better off with the Three Ships Bourbon Cask.![]()
