Please leave some in the stores for me please, I'm only going to get a chance on Saturday.

Only if you're sharing that laphroaig 18yo

That might be a long wait, more likely opening this next.

Doing the Wade Bales on Thursday and Friday but might also do the Ardbeg thing on Saturday to get a taste before I open the bottle. I've got the Ardbeg Perpetuum and I'm not impressed so I wanna taste the Corry before I open it.

The Ardbeg 10 yr old helped me onto peat.
I find it awesome.

I'm on my second bottle of Uigedail, absolutely awesome. Really turned me onto peat.

Have any of you tried Kilchoman Machir Bay? My first bottle is just about done. It started off peaty with a sweet smell and after it passed the half-way mark and a few months in the back of the cupboard the sweetness got replaced with a pleasant salty finish. non-chill filtered and no colouring. I'd happily recommend it to anyone who likes something peaty.

I've got the 2013 bottling, bought it a long time ago before I liked peat. I should open it now, thanks for the heads up.

Slowly discovering more whiskeys. My problem is the heavier the peat the less I enjoy it. But... Peat is slowly growing on me.

Can anyone suggest a nice 'light peat' whiskey?

Great King Street, Glasgow blend. Very nice, light peat and good everyday drinking.

For me, the three ships 5yr old is a great introduction
