just a reminder on scams - bottleshop.co.za - people still being caught
I wouldn't say that they are a scam, but their service is just non-existent. Especially if you buy something that they then have to get in from overseas.
Might as well buy it from MoM or Whisky Exchange yourself.
I have had many run ins with Bottleshop and will never buy from them again.

People getting nothing in return for paid orders is a scam. Read the reports . Maybe you lucky and got something so no scam for you
I received the one order I placed with them but my gosh they price gouge like no tomorrow. I read their email today and they were selling Springbank 10 for R1219!!! It's only R900~ at two Tops in my area...I imagine in 2 weeks they will sell it at R999 reduced from R1219 what a deal!!! x)
I've never had issues with orders from bottleshop, but then I've only ever ordered in stock items. Some of their mark-ups and so called discounts often make TA look like amateurs.
Given the hit-and-miss service reported here and elsewhere, I rather shop elsewhere these days.

I've bought over R10k of stuff from bottleshop but you must know your prices beforehand. I only ever had an issue on 1 item which they claimed to have in stock and which magically went missing from their warehouse. They offered to refund m or bring one in from overseas. I called their bluff and eventually got my item.
Me too. That Rittenhouse seems to garner really good reviews.

Just take a drive there, have breakfast or lunch(the food is really good), try out a few drams and fetch your order.

Perfect for an old fashioned when it gets much warmer towards the end of the year. Time to get more Compass Box Orangerie for my old fashioned.

I'm going to do this but not sure where I am going to find such a small cooler box. Seems a 4.5L would be ideal. But 11 / 12L are usually the ones most shops start with
