Just because something is under the guise of an Act or "readressing the wrongs of the past", doesn't make it any less racist. Which ever way you spin it it is blatant.

Yes the Nats also had a few discrimanatory Acts on their books.

1.) Why where people feeding the troll? Surely this the OP of this thread is doing nothing more then trolling, or do I not understand the whole "trolling" thing? Or else, even worse, he plainly believes that AA is actually a good thing.

2.) There is no such thing as "reverse racism"! Please get your mind around that concept. By spewing out this "reverse racism" excrement you are re-enforcing the bigoted, stupid, and blatantly incorrect mindset that only white people are capable of racism. Racism is racism no matter what race is discriminating against what race. I don't know how to make it any cleared for you.

3.) As someone already said, AA is a stupid idea for stupid people. I agree with this statement, although stupid might be a little too harsh a word. A more accurate way of putting it is maybe, AA is a poorly thought out and implemented idea for ignorant people. Basically they knew it was a great selling point to the uneducated mass, so they did not think it through, or maybe they just don’t care, but told the masses, vote for us and well will ensure you get jobs (and the money) of that whites kept you away from.

It all comes down to education, if the black people had been educated properly over the generations, AA would not be much of an issue, as the people would be qualified / capable of performing the tasks. However educating them would have provided other problems, because apartheid would not have last as long, it’s harder to oppress educated people then it is uneducated. And now we are left to deal with the consequences of the sins of our fathers and grandfathers. There is a right way and a wrong way to deal those, sadly like most things people tend to go for the quickest and or easiest way instead of the right way.

Actually, I meant proof that the darkness could be atributed to AA senior managers at Eskom.
Anyway, here is a list of their Exco and MDs - --- M Adam, E Johnson, B Nqwababa, S Lennon, M Letlape, I du Plessis, B Dames, E Matya...

Nqwbaba being an finance guy has got little to do with electricity generation, distribution etc.
Letlape being HR again has nothing to do with generation, distribution, etc.
Of the 8 senior executives at Eskom, which ones do you think are responsible for the black outs... do the maths

Wrong again, strategic decisions are made at Exco level, the CEO is also part of that, the CEO hardly makes unanimous decisions...that's the point of having an EXCO...

AA is to address the imbalance as a result of apartheid.

If you notice no imbalance, then you are blind.

So addressing racism of the past with racism of today is going to help?

AA is racist in every form, no matter how you disguise it.
