Fair point, but we won't go backwards will just end up bundling it, if DSTV was smart they would work with these guys like Disney and HBO to offer something like that.
 
With a combined Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu package coming later this year at $13 and Netflix at under $12 that comes to $29 including a smart DNS service it's going to be pretty easy to "beat" DSTV imo.

Interesting really....

Considering Netflix had a bad quarter in Q1 this year from an analysts point of view and only made $140m profit on $4.2bn revenue... Not entirely sure $140m profit is classed as not having made a profit yet.. (also considering Netflix have posted positive profit figures for at least a decade from what I can see)

Absolutely, I agree. DSTV needs to be beaten to a pulp for various reasons: 1. Monopoly, 2. Racist policies - Not allowing whites to obtain Multichoice shares, among other.

Exactly my man, it's crazy. I see Sasol is now doing the same too. And to top it off, a colleague of mine is married to a black man (who I happen to now as well), and when he tried to obtain shares, he had to provide his marriage status and when they realized his wife's white, they refused him shares too, unbelievable.

Ummm just for reference, NEITHER of them are doing what you claim...

They limited access to their "bee" share schemes yes, but you as a normal human being can buy shares on the stock exchange regardless of your race.
 
We've been DSTV-free for 3 years, so I'm probably in a special demographic

I've personally experienced it myself as well as the colleague from work. Their were also plenty of outrage about it at the time. I don't know about the JSE however, it might be a different story or else they might've have changed it perhaps?????????????????

Did you watch MSL last year? SABC cannot broadcast cricket to the same level as Supersport. Maybe they could years ago.

That's only the SASOL part, we still have the Multichoice issue, u need to acknowledge when the sht went down and not try to support fake news snowflake lol??????????
