Why I'm going to vote DA

Zille's going to do so well as Premier... for all its people & not just DA supporters... like the ANC would for its members... but couldn't even if they tried :eek:
Just hope our new DA Mayor can fill half her shoes... whomever that might be... hope she keeps a hand on that too... just a little bit :rolleyes:

Nobody is forcing you to vote DA. In fact vote for any party except the ANC and you have a good chance of running the province along with Helen.

The unmistakable fact remains, under the DA-coalition the city has been run 900% better. No ANC or anti-DA propaganda can deny this.

Just your opinion with no facts to back it. In my experience, the city has become worse in most respects, as seen by a resident.

Now I don't know which is which. I thought CPT well well run under the DA.
Has the DA done a good job in CPT or not?
 
Sackboy, no offense, but if you wrote a complaint letter to me, I'd also ignore it. You come off as a bit of a troll.

Cape Town is awesome.

I was there on holiday in December. I stayed in the CBD. I felt safe; the streets were clean; there were no beggars and street merchants on street corners; police were always around; etc; etc. It was awesome.

Why can't Jo'burg be this great? :(

I agree. Perhaps Sackboy should take a visit to JHB or DBN for comparative purposes?

If Sackboy is a resident and CPT was better before, then he might have a point. I don't know how Cape Town was then and how it is now.
 
Last time I was in Cape Town somebody relieved us of our holiday baggage - before our holiday had begun. Apart from that though, it was clean, traffic was decent (no speeding)... I can live with that.

My point exactly. I'm not going to let one event stop me from voting DA - just because they happen to manage the city it happened in.
 
DA has my vote... I refuse to support any organization that Julius Malema is involved in...

"Julius Malema..... 100% Zuma.....20% WoodWork" :D
 
Wish there were more choices other than ANC and Da.. Canada has the best living standards on earth.. and they have around 4 parties each recieving +-20% of the votes.

Cape Town has really done a lot to increase its profile overseas. Wether that is thanks to the DA or wether its the city itself, I wouldn't know.

Isn't the ANC trying to pass some bill that would make provincial goverment elections Irrelevant? Maybe just useless hype by the sabc..

Cape Town is truly a world class city! If only the SA won :(
