Why I'm going to vote DA

It isn't really relevant. For example; if some cities are run well and some are not, and they are under the ANC, how would YOU explain that?
 
Ok.. then produce facts and figures that are measurable of the ANC run CapeTown vs the DA run CapeTown.... that should be relevant to your nonsense argument then?.. since you seem to think it was run better before the DA... prove it...

Its pretty simple. If a city is well run, the mayor (and their party) takes the credit. The same applies if they perform badly (unless they are ANC of course).

Its just interesting that most cape town residents agree that things are much better run under the DA but you seem to be the only one who disagrees.

As it is, the rates have increased since they are directly linked to the market value of houses. Law enforcement is a JOKE. They must be the most inept bunch of buffoons this side of the ocean. The mayor has direct control over these people, which indicates very poor management.

We're also told that the money the City gets goes directly into the townships, probably in an effort to buy some votes. It doesn't matter whether the City claims that they "are running it better". What matters is what we see on the ground, whether that means less corruption, more accountability or otherwise.

Yet you still don't understand how the ANC controls much of the funding and policies for these actions. Go do your homework and come back when you have a clue.

If the DA wins the province then you'll understand where the problem was.

These would be the same police that arrested Helen Zille? Do you honestly believe these ANC-led policemen would listen to the requests of the DA? Think about, think.

Capetownguy, I am going to agree with you here. Sackboy is a dumb troll, nothing more. He cannot give concrete reasons as to how the DA caused Cape Town to go downhill.

As for the absolute genius quip about how the ANC left the city in shambles just because the DA took over. Genius. Never occurred to him that that is standard practice all over the country. Are they preparing to loose the entire country to the DA by leaving it in shambles? :D

There's a distinct lack of maturity amongst the DA fanbois and I don't think it's going to attract more votes. If I were HZ, I would say "Mommy says turn off your PC and stop causing trouble".
