Why iOS is better than Android!

Nah...... you guys!!!
Android= carp
IOS=crap
Palm OS= BEST THING EVER

lol

So quick to try and be superior, you actually do get OTG adapters for iOS..

For example:

People like you and Baxteen are really showing the bad side of fandroidsm. It really isn't needed..

Android = good
iOS = good

Is there really a bad OS anymore? Even WP is quite usable.

Doesn't the iOS adapter only allow pictures/videos to be accessed? What about my word/PP docs?
I use both Android and iOS

Android:
File sharing
Ability to swap stock apps with any app I chose that has better functionality (I swapped the default file browser with one that supports rar files)
Can install apps I made myself/multiple stores
customization
back button (as long as they are software, I hate Samsung with its hardware buttons)

iOS:
updates
better gestures

App store is good on both. I prefer android search/sorting (on iOS I sent multiple e-mails stating a paid app was in the top free apps list, nothing was done about it), else pretty much the same.

Swipe to go back to a webpage is the one gesture I miss most. I love the huge display on my Nexus 6 and the fact that it cost a truckload less than an equivalent iPhone, but better gestures would be appreciated.

I wonder how much longer they'll keep Blackberry on life support, I think a couple of ugly Android phones is too little, too late too late to save the company.

Dead pool for 2016? Or 2017?

They're both solid OSes with their pros and cons. For development, the downside of Android is that it is so fragmented across so many permutations of devices and versions. Meanwhile, the downside to iOS is the closed and controlled nature of the ecosystem. Both aspects of which are also sometimes strengths. Different philosophies, with different strengths and weaknesses resulting, but at the end of the day IMHO most of each platform's strengths and weaknesses cancel each other out so there's no clearly "better" OS.

How do you stop an android app from accessing your contacts, messages, photos, mic ... etc.
I was going to download this one app from the store and it says it needed access to just about everything and a dna sample if it could.
Is there somewhere you can block it from all that and still use the app?
