Why people pirate games

Ha, I have a new name for my pain and its Origin. I think EA just had a bunch of monkeys type randomly at a keyboard and released the product that looked acceptable.

Everything was fine until the 1st patch. I spent 28Gb to download a friggin 4Gb patch. A whole friggin week. The patch would download, reach 80% or more, then state an error occurred and start all over again. They couldn't even program Origin to resume.

Finally got the patch, but my random disconnects and kicks by my second favorite pain, Punkbuster, continued. (An EA adviser told me the patch would fix it.)

Skip to last week's little 40Mb patch. Started the download, 40 minutes later I get a message that my hard disk space is full. But I had more than 400Gb available on that disk. Check Origin, it claims to download at 2200Kps, the temp file in the Origin folder is 400Gb and counting. Swear and close Origin. Restart PC, try running Origin again, now Origin crash every time it needs to update. Contact EA support, which in my opinion is run by the same monkeys I mentioned earlier, they sort of admit there is a problem with the Origin update I must try again by downloading the installer. Did that several times, struggles for 3 friggin days until Origin finally updates itself and work.

Only to find that I now gets kicked every time I try to join a server.

I have tried every thing with Punkbuster, BTW the people at Evenbalance are actually monkeys rejected from EA. I was happy when they actually seem to try and help, but when we reached the stage where they tell me to do stuff I already mentioned I did in the very first support log, I kinda lost it. The PB logs do not even register the kicks. I just love the fact that I cannot play a game due to another party's incompetence.
