In light of the fact that wifi is a lot faster that 4g LTE and the fact that its equipment is a lot cheaper to manufacture on the phone (device) and for transmission when compared to 4g LTE, recent developments state that it can go up to 1.5 gbs, are there any companies investing in the use of this technology countrywide. There are still arguments as to whether LTE is 4G or not because its maximum speed are below 100mbs.:D

I just see MTN and Vodacom charging us 300 bucks for 1gb of LTE data. Doesn't Vodacom and mtn count as companies that are investing into LTE technology?

I want to see how much 40mbps VDSL costs when it's out, by 2015. If its as bad as LTE, then I will stay using ADSL.

Honestly, Internet in south africa is so expensive and ****ty at the same time! Why!!
