So, does supporting the ANC make it impossible for you to be racist?
Just curious but did u see the farmer cant be a racist since he is an ANC supporter now instead of accepting accountability for your statement you call somebody else names ?![]()
I guess some of you who defended him are perplexed at how you can respond or support him now that you know he is a member (or atleast an active supporter) of an institution that embodies everything you hate.
I never once said I defend his action...
But calling the guy a racist before any real facts were available thats just a bit unfair. Please tell me what would you have said if the farmer was also black, would you have agreed with his "thought it was a baboon story" ?

Was I the first person to mention race in this thread? Your bigotry is clouding your judgement. @sshole!
You disgust me Syndre!
Rooinek: Does it help you to see anyone who disagrees with you as merely part of a monolithic entity, all sharing clearly defined traits and the exact same thought processes? Does assuming the motivations of others ease your mind, rather than troubling yourself looking at the individual reasons? Your prejudice is astounding.
You'll find my post on the first page, condemning the farmer for his carelessness in handling a firearm. However, that's all I condemn. I don't believe that this man is the racist murderer that some have tried to make him out as. Mistakes are possible.
Use of firearms for nuisance animal management is accepted and practised on farms across SA.
Off topic: why were you looking at the handgun training manual? Getting/relicensing a firearm? Feel welcome to respond in PM if you don't want to go off topic.
Well, I think he did fertilize the soil a little, right after he got shot.I think it can be assumed that the man was not fertilizing the soil and tending the needs of the farm in an effort of goodwill.
The next generation will see 50+ people claiming the land as the place where their great grandfather, whacha ma call him, eeeh. "We don't know his name but we want the land". This will be part of land reforms. The SABC will broadcast HDTV images of their heroic struggle and the peace they now claim to experience.
And they will rename it ...
We're focusing on the fact that he was aiming at a baboon because that is his defence - not that he was in any perceived danger - so it also doesnt matter what the man was doing there.I think we are concentrating too much on the fact that he aimed for a baboon and hit a man. What the hell was the man doing there?
The castle doctrine only makes sense when legal provisions are made for it.The castle method of protecting oneself. Shoot first and ask questions later, makes the most sense.
