Will heeding the president's call to take part in the Jerusalema dance challenge form part of your Heritage Day celebrations tomorrow?

Do you have other things planned to celebrate? Perhaps a braai with friends and family? Or will you be stuck at work?

I think my kids want to make a video of the dance challenge, so that, and a barbecue, will most likely be it.

I shall dance as it could be fun

I still don't believe in the holiday though. If I started my career clubbing baby seals and later ended up spreading rumours in Asia about rhino horn causing cancer every possible chance I get, marine biologist still see me as a seal clubber

Barbecue? You're making some kind of sauce?
There's always some sort of sauce.

If i want an authentic bwana family bbq I suppose I'll need to make sure the food tastes like charcoal as my father's did, and my father's father...

Every time I forget about LVL 5 I am reminded that when my washing machine broke, it was not an "essential item" even though my wife is a doctor and an essential services worker and I needed an affidavit to buy one and the first police station refused to issue it and I had to waste 4 hours to try get it sorted - I will not dance.

I will enjoy my braai though and enjoy a nice cold home brew something else I learnt during lock down!

Nope.
When there's some real loyalty to the people developed, maybe.

Most of you can't dance. You should just admit it instead of making excuses.
Me not being able to dance is punishment for my white privilege. Fair price to pay I guess.

Would have been nice if he asked us to do something constructive.
