win 2000 please try to help me

Hi, got this win 2000 machine.

As soon as win starts , I get the blue screen.
It suggest running diskcheck ,
so I went safemode. same bluescreen
I then went safe mode dos prompt and same blue screen.

It might be that the hard drive got hurt somehow.

Any other way I can go. Their is a spare usb, if I can do someting from their.

Sounds more like loose than win.

I would be inclined to say look at hardware first, rather than software.

Running 2000, the components are likely to be older.

Open the case.
Make sure to reseat all the components
When taking out the RAM, to reseat.. First clean the copper contacts with a soft eraser. Then reseat.

Then start PC after making sure all components and plugs are secure.

Listen for any strange sounds when starting the PC. See that all fans turn.

After that look at software.

Hirens BootCD is your friend. Download it and burn it to a CD and run RAM and HDD tests and checks.

Does not have any software for it,
windows and Exfo toolkit.

Phoned Lambda and they advise to sent it in.

Windows 2000 like XP can do repair install, download a copy and do the repair.
