Go to control panel, region, administrative, change system locale to English United States. It will work after that. Thanks to @OrbitalDawn

Ran the tool as administrator? Deleted those two folders Windows creates when it starts updating, before trying to tool again?

Done all of that... I even ran the cleanup tool and cleared the updates.

Is your Firefox not giving issues?

I managed to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, but Firefox is constantly returning 'Secure Connection Failed' errors when trying to open Facebook and other sites like Google Images. I made no changes to anything except performing the upgrade.

It can't be a certificate issue as other HTTPS sites open without problems.

No problems at all with Firefox and it runs way better with tons of tabs open.

Anyone got a win7 activator that tricks the win10 installer? I've just downloaded everything onto my laptop to upgrade and turns out I installed ultimate on it instead of Home Premium so it's not activated... I really don't wanna reinstall 7, update it again and then re-download 10.

There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:

Bah, no Windows 10 here for me yet . I keep on getting that error message "something happened", tried everything even the ISOs... :erm:

Might as well format and reinstall Windows 8.1 and install the ISO via that

I don't get the error, but it just doesn't download the update. Stuck at 3%.

Yes you can. Did it on my laptop. It activated automatically.
