I know it sucks after running Windows 8/10, I use it as my media device for music and stuff.
If I do a clean install with my windows 7 key do you think it will work?
Yes - you can also upgrade from Win7 to Win10

It does - Edge browser. First thing I did was make Chrome the default
Is it bad ?

Dunno. Will try it out at some stage. Just like Chrome as I have all my addons loaded. Can't do without Lastpass.

Installed 100% on PC, I love it! Start>Control Panel, oh how I've missed you!!!!

Go to control panel, region, administrative, change system locale to English United States. It will work after that. Thanks to @OrbitalDawnBah, no Windows 10 here for me yet

You'll be missing out then. Windows 10 is a big step up. I could never go back now that I've used it. The entire system feels much more modern.
If you play any games, DX12 is a gigantic improvement and basically necessitates Windows 10.

It seems the ISO is especially useful for domain joined PCs as it seems you can't get the icon if your PC is part of a business network. I'd assume the same applies to a non-domain PC you should be able to do an in-place upgrade. Am waiting for my ISO to finish downloading

Is your Firefox not giving issues?
I managed to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, but Firefox is constantly returning 'Secure Connection Failed' errors when trying to open Facebook and other sites like Google Images. I made no changes to anything except performing the upgrade.
It can't be a certificate issue as other HTTPS sites open without problems.
On the privacy side of things are you logged in with a local account or a M$oft account, and what kinds of data does it require to share with M$oft. Can one disable sharing of all sorts of data if signed into a local account? Really looking forward to moving along but just concerned about what we might be signing up to

I have upgraded my laptop to windows 10 without any problems.I use the old movie maker which does dot get carried ouer but is still on the system in the windows.old directory which is good. Amazingly win10 is very similar to using win7.It would have been nice to get a report of the new features and old app that were not carried over.I have also backed up this new install.
