For the past few weeks, I've experienced numerous restarts on my laptop. It wants to restart EVERY day due to windows updates. I have uninstalled the updates, but they return. What to do?

Restarting has no effect...the above messages remain unchanged.
Do you want to stop updates or have them get up to date?
If updates fail i use MS upgrade assistant.

I would like to stay up to date. The problem is that the same update has my laptop restarting EVERY day for weeks.
few times a day?
Nope, once a day.
I doubt, they never fixed it on the version 1607.Interesting, so it was just trying to install the same crap over and over and the DB was all messed up?
I've never seen that before.
Install latest CU from here https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4074588 assuming you're on build 1709.
Checked laptop: Windows ® Installer. V 5.0.16299.15
Run cmd with administrator priviledges
1. sfc /scannow
2. DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:E:\WindowsInstall/RepairSource /LimitAccess
^^ change path to suite your needs
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution
Delete all these folders then reboot and search for updates.
