The possibilities of Hololens are mind-blowing.

There is one stumble block that will have to be solved before it will take off and become mainstream: Power.

Most users will not be willing to recharge it every 2 hours.

Glass also crashed and burned because Google could not solve this.

Is it just me that is experiencing a crappy stream? I thought it should stream just fine on a 2Mbps connection.
 
So it will be out within a week. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Google said that they purposefully put a small battery in Google Glass to prevent people being able to take long video recordings, because apparently that's a very naughty feature to have.

That sounds like a very weak excuse.

If they put more/bigger batteries into it, it would have become more bulky and heavier, which would have decreased the 'cool' factor, and possibly also cause neck strain with extended use.

Yeah when you see the actual examples of that it'll look like Super Mario Bros. sliding all over the place.

EDIT: I saw a live demo and the motion tracking looks quite good. The framerate makes it seem laggy.
