Windows 10 Upgrade Problem

So hijacking this thread http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/731046-windows-10-how has not produced any answers.

Perhaps starting a new thread will.

I've downloaded the 64-bit tool (I am running a legal Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit) but when I run the tool, nothing happens - the tool does not open/run. I have also tried right-clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator" but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Control Panel > Region > Administrative Tab > Change System Locale > Select English (United States).... solved most of the pc issues i had at office...

I've done that on 2 machines. The one worked 100%. The other will not activate.

Upgrades or Clean Install? A clean install will not activate if you didn't upgrade first on that same machine.

I've tried both suggestions and no joy. I downloaded the ecd?? and converted to an iso but received a message that I should run from within windows but when I tried,nothing happened.

Have you confirmed that your Windows is activated? Is your firewall somehow blocking execution? Are you attempting to upgrade though a corporate network or the like?
