Any feature update would reset previous updates (that you didn't delete yourself as it can be done via disk cleanup)

After each feature update you have 10days to revert your PC ... after that 10 days the option expires and the files are gone ... freeing up space.

Do the cleanups ... available as far back as Window xxx

Why does this happen? Explorer/Task Bar seldom works when I click on something. I have to click on something sometimes and then have to to press the WINDOWS key on my keyboard for it to bring up the window. It mostly happens with explorer. (clicking one of the pupup windows dont work either and it is onyl has one window it doesnt work either)

Try installing ExplorerPatcher & see if that solves the issue for you...

Here is another example. Restarting explorer a couple of times a day only fixes it temporary. It has been going on for years and whenever I sign into windows with my windows account the behaviour comes back to any machine I sign into. I AM CURSED!

I have a .bat file on my desktop to automate the restart every day, have been doing it for the past many years with Windows 11. But I am getting tired of it.

Code:
@echo off
taskkill /f /im explorer.exe
start explorer.exe

But that is right ... you have 2 explorer windows already open ... when hover over that yellow icon you need to click the window that you actually want open ... to open a new 3rd explorer window, r-click and select "windows explorer" (or middle click on the icon)... another reason I don't like combined windows ....

and people want to laugh at my floating "icon bar" :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL: ... it just works 🤪

Sorry, so if I click on one of those windows in the popup they do not want to open either.

Ok, that's a little weird. ...but yea, clicking that yellow icon will not do anything.

just holding the pointer on one of those "previews" also not bring the windows into full view ?

Does middle-click actually open a new window tho ?
