Windows 7 anytime upgrade packages in SA

Has anyone had any luck sourcing the windows 7 anytime upgrade packages in SA? I'm seeking the starter to home premium upgrade. Microsoft SA tried to sell me the home premium DSP which is twice the price.

Info: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-ZA/windows7/products/windows-anytime-upgrade

Example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116773

Sorry to thrash your thread. But seriously. Microsoft SA trying to sell you a DSP copy? Stuff this man, they don't even know their own licensing it seems. DSP for the whole world I say! Buya!

Microsoft don't sell directly. They outsource. Some company called me offering it. Not 100% sure it was the DSP as I've asked a lot of companies :) One of them did. That's for sure.

Now back to my problem. Do you folks reckon if I order the package from newegg it shouldn't present any hassles this side? Or might it be region locked...

I know IC has the Home Premium -> Ultimate upgrade, so they might have the others too.

Thanks I see they do in fact offer what I'm looking for! AT THE INSANE PRICE OF WHAT I WAS OFFERED HOME PREMIUM FOR! How do IC get away with prices like that. It should only cost a little more than $80 (In theory)!

Just bought a laptop with vista on it last week @ pc zone, they were not very helpful when i asked about the upgrade and basically said it wasnt there problem and had nothing to do with them. So now i get hold of micrsoft and they say they will ship me a free copy of win 7 all i have to pay for is shipping which is 50 us dollars =0

WOW. Did you speak to Redmond themselves I take it? Perhaps I should try this route.

$50 to ship a disk from the US to SA? Now there's a rip off...
