Microsoft will end Windows 7 beta downloads on February 10.

Yeah, it's okay... nothing to write home about, but it's nice to play with.

i loved it,too bad the 64 bit windows drivers are not up to scratch hopefully they will fix it with the final release.

I've heard many good things about Windows 7 and it has impressed many. I am looking forward to the final release and if what I am hearing is correct, it will run very well on my hardware! I wouldn't need to upgrade - although Vista runs fine on my system in any case.

I can't download it through local, it directs to mwebs landing page, I assume mweb has blocked all traffic to download.microsoft to stop people using their local on it.
As I am sure download.microsoft is akamai.

saw the same...scary times

as for my opinion...its better surely...but looks wise it feels just like a revamped vista....less bloatware aswell and even ran on my eeepc (the 904HD)...so its good when compared to microsofts previous attempts.

Been running it now for about 1.5 weeks:

Very stable for a MS Beta product
Much faster than Vista (I am running 4Gb RAM)
Network management seems to be better on LAN and Domain networks
Definitely problems with antivirus conflicts and produces BSODs (google for tdx.sys IRQL to see the issues)
All my wireless related reception has improved (Bluetooth, WiFi and 3G [Built in modem])

I am happy with it.

I'm running it on 3 machines -- no BSODs, fast, stable, love it.

Worth the download.
Get the torrent and download half this month, half next month if bandwidth is an issue.

Of course not, just the official MS download. The beta will expire (as in stop working) in August. If you still want to run it, although a beta 2 or RC release will be out by then, I'm sure there will be some hack.
