I bought the retail verson and installed it on my 'main' PC last week.

Thing is, I have a media 'server' (almost no software) and installed it on that too. That PC isn't even connected to the net.

There a way to not activate? :/

PS I'm aware I'm breaching license requirements

you need a software tool called "Windows. 7. Loader. v1. 7. 7. x86-x64. REPACK-DAZ"

Not sure what the latest version is... you can find it on most P2P sites.

But if you are gonna go that route... why not download a proper Windows 7 release ... like the BIE version or something.

It has everything you need already included.

I've already gone that route - so legal on the one (feels great to pass genuine validation tests!) and already installed on the other.

What is BIE version?

There are different releases of Windows 7 to be um "sampled" on the P2P networks. BIE is one of the most popular. It includes ultimate x86 and x64 and has built in activation and passes all validation tests.

Use at your own risk, this information is for educational purposes only. :D

.. and if you do really like Windows 7 and intend on keeping it you should buy it as soon as possible for each computer you use it on.
