Why would you think Windows 7 would be a failure??

It's by far the best Windows ever, the stability of XP and the pretty UI of Vista, and much faster than either of the two. Plus it's very intuitive and user friendly as well, and with quite low system requirements for modern PC's. So where does the failing come in?

I'd be interested to see why PeterCH thinks that Windows 7 would be such a failure. My only gripe with the OS are changes to the file explorer but other than that it's all win.

Is that the average since its launch? Holy moly.... thats a lot of $$$$ Eish... 150 million copies (legit) @ an avg of R1000 per copy..... 150billon ! or is it 15billion ?? either way thats a kuk load of money...

I agree. 7 is one of the best os's ever.
It just surprises me that MS offer no upgrade path from Vista in Sa :wtf:
So if you where dumb enough to buy Vista Ultimate (like someone I know, you know who you are) youre stuck with it unless you pay FULL price again for 7.

Windows 7 is a very very good OS.

+1

Lucky number 7 for Microsoft...by far the best OS they ever created.

Works a real treat with Windows Server 2008 R2, hell, even with Windows SBS 2003!

Thanks for making my life easier. :)
