Win7 is very stable. I really haven't found any bugs to gripe about.
32-bit awesome awesome awesome, not particularly faster than XP was/is but certainly more user friendly and a lot more efficient then Vista.how u guys finding win 7? Buggy? or fairly stable?
Did you use the 32-bit version at all? Or straight onto 64-bit?It is stable, running absolutely amazingly fast
Probably not, 4GB max although I haven't tried more..will win 7 32 bit,
will win 7 32 bit, see 8GB RAM? Are you running 32 bit MS Office on win 7 x64? If so which version?
Yes, that would seem to be the case...i am told only x64 versions can see more than 4GB
. . . I find if the pc goes into hibernation and comes out of it, my internet connection dies and it hangs on the shut down screenhow u guys finding win 7? Buggy? or fairly stable?
Note to the dude who's having issues with Crysis...
I don't know if NVIDIA has the same problem, but the ATI 9.5 drivers (sometimes?) don't install properly. Windows 7 kept using the default WDM driver until I manually told it to use the new .inf in the ATI folder. The Catalyst Control Centre wouldn't launch etc, and obviously games would have run much slower.
Not sure it's related, but that was my mileage anyway.![]()
Once I sorted out that issue, Windows 7 became very, very fast.
