So I'm on the latest 64-bit Win 10 and I have a 1TB HDD.

Recently I did a clean install and reinstalled all my laptop's driver after that, so everything is working fine as it should

My problem is with Windows Update. The updates starts downloading and freezes at varying percentages (after I've restarted the process)

I've tried this fix which I googled:

1) Run admin command prompt and stop Windows update & BITS
2) Delete files in c:/program files/windows/software distribution/download
3) Restart Windows update & BITS in command prompt again.

This worked for jyst one update, but now I'm back to square 1 with a recent update. The fix won't work anymore now

Try manually downloading that specific update from Microsoft and install it.

What method are you using to upgrade to Windows 10? The Windows Update method is not very reliable. Updating from a manually downloaded ISO worked best for me.

In Pro you can edit group policy and disable some 'features'.
With Home version you are out of luck... Don't use beta software.
