Windows Update Issues Win 7?

Wonder if anyone else is also experiencing "Windows could not search for updates - Error Code 80246002.
After googling this error KB2982791 dated 2014-08-13 and KB2993651 dated 2014-08-28.we removed them from the system.
Update re-installed KB2993651 after manual Update Check.
Now back to the same Code Error 80246002.
Is this another Ms Update problem?

Check your DNS settings. If you are using DNS 8.8.8.8 or standard DNS, then change to 8.8.4.4 or 4.2.2.2

Thanks did not work on the VC 3G built in modem.

Looks like Ms resolved the problem by a update released at the end if August. Tnx for all advise.

Thats good news. Sucks though that this error has happened more than once already to so many people.
