I've got a Sitecom wireless network adapter(USB) and I connect to the internet through the telkom Billion 800VGT ADSL router. But the problem is, i keep getting disconnected. Any ideas how to fix it? I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit

How far away from it are you? How strong is your signal strength? I would say check environment first, then try troubleshoot equipment/software/settings

I suggest that you log into our router and change the your channel ID to Channel 6 or 11. You might also want to reduce your Tx Power level to 100 as this can create chances of intereference, like Microwaves.

Reduce? it goes higher than 100% ??

Remove the wireless security and then reconnect with no password. - eliminated incorrect passwords, uncompatable security etc.

Then download netstumbler. Run it and check the graph- make sure there are no gaps or strange spikes.

Its not a percentage, it is a miliwatt figure ie 255mw is the maximum the radio card in the unit can do, default might be lower 100mw or 80mw to ensure that they meet country requirements.
