Woolies going cashless?

Yeah good luck refusing legal tender
Quite a few places I've been to the past year or two that don't accept cash. Especially small businesses with a very public face that don't want to deal with carrying large sums of cash around / being a target.

BS. There is no way in hell a mini bus taxi is gonna go cashless. Show me the proof. Please.
I’ve seen pictures on X, several from the EC and I’ve seen ones in Cape Town and many people have attested.

Have never seen Capitec’s card system go down ever. Been with them for 11 years now.
Same. Also with all my years with Capitec I think there was only two or so times where I had issues with internet banking (before the days of the banking app) and the banking app itself. And the issue with the banking app was sorted in like 20 minutes. Was a non event really.

As for going cashless... I fully support it. Less risk for the business in terms of robberies and less risk for customers in terms of muggings.
