Workout Supplements

I am following the advice of my trainer. She has some explaining to do
I would say so.

Protein and creatine come recommended collagen if you listen to this is bs/waste of money

 
Almost all supplements are going to provide at best, very marginally positive results in the average person.
Even illegal supplements dont actually provide a massive difference (Im talking 15% or more).

You are going to get much more benefit out of good sleep, a good exercise routine, good form, consistency and diet than you ever will out of supplements (illegal or otherwise).

Save your money, put the effort and time where you will get the most benefit
 
I never got the hype of protein supplements. People probably see that 350kg DL guy with USN milkshake container in his hand and then think - hey - I found the easy way to build muscle and strength.
I recently started taking some protein supplement but reason was I hit a plateau on weight loss.

Idea was to replace one of my meals (or at least 70% of one meal) with this supplement. Of course, other things like salad might have worked as well but protein supplement milk shake seems to satiate me quite well and at end of the day, stomach doesn't rumble.

It seems I broke the weight loss plateau about 15 days after using it. My weight was stuck for about 1 month+. I know it is simple calorie in, calorie out principle but I found some benefit this way.
