I have been struggling with
Cell C
since the 08/06/2021. I am not able to get any phone calls on my cell. I am able to make calls, I get messages, am able to send messages, but when my number gets dialed you just get a voice prompt stating: the number you've dialed is not available at present. the network does not allow a message nor does it notify me of any missed call.
I reported it to them via the
Cell C
call Centre and they provided me short codes to deactivate call forwarding which they recon could be the problem. (Not that I ever activated any call forwarding function on my phone.)
On the 10/06/2021 I ended up visiting a
Cell C
store as the problem had not yet been resolved. The advisor who assisted me also enter all the short codes to deactivate call forwarding on my phone. she advised me to do a sim swop and charged me R115.00 for this. Guess what?????? I am still not receiving calls.
Even when inserting my new sim into another handset the problem persist.
I have called
Cell C
on numerous occasions. I have received several reference numbers and empty promises that someone would phone me back. - They seem to not get it that I AM NOT ABLE TO GET CALLS ON MY CELL PHONE!!!!!
I have been advised that I need to manually change the Network provider which I have done. Still no calls.
I am now considering seeking legal advise to terminate my contract. I can surely not be held liable for breech of contract as they have failed to provide the service they are suppose too by contract. Luckily they don't debit me and thus I will just stop paying them until such time they hand me over to attorneys. I will gladly go to court over this to make the headlines on service delivery or perhaps the lack thereof. As a consumer I am protected by the CPA. As a registered FSP
Cell C
is also governed by the FAIS Act.
Let see if
Cell C
will make any effort to contact me on any of the details they have for me. #noexpectationwhatsoeverofcellc
