Sure as we all know a 100K system must be >>>> than a 20K Sony system, there is no doubt about that for sure, it was you that started tha comparison when we debated and compared the PS3 with the Xbox..

Who said I do not understand it, I just suggested to Dolby how he can improve his experience, :D Maybe his system can do Dolby Pro Logic IIx/IIz, who knows?

It is exactly the same with Video upscaling. :D The source remains the same, its only the representation that is different is it not, not always better depending on the upscaling hardware but never the less it is upscaled to a different resolution.

With Audio the channels no's are upscaled by using specific predetermined methods/algorithm like DTS Neo:6 or Dolby Pro Logic II. That is not the same as the discrete mastered 7.1 (8 discrete channels of sound) of certain Video titles, in particular BluRay titles, that can also be played on the PS3. (But not on the Xbox)

I've made these a little clearer so perhaps you can see and answer them ....

You mention the same stuff over and over and over again without reading posts. For example, I said we can compare my OLD DTS 5.1 system - worth less than your current.

I think it'd make for an interesting comparisson.

The PS3 is selling just as well. You can look at the splits in the different regions only NA seems to be significantly ahead. What you saying is that from a sales point of view, it is XBox 360 ARCADE VS. PS3 where a R4000 console keeps up with a R1800 console?

You keep saying that Sony is forcing something down our throats. They gave us a choice to buy it or not. 25.5mil people that bought it think otherwise. I think maybe you should go hide under a rock.

I did not use the number to compare it with a PS3 Dolby did, and then you commented nothing? By the responses it must be seriously bugging/embarresing some members to know that a PS3 had to be compared with a 100K system? :eek: Must be that fact that the PS3 can do DTS HD master 8.1 channel surround sound and the 100K system can not do it at all?

Anyone of you arguing the point EVER listened to a BluRay movie title over 8.1 channel surround system in HD DTS master? I doubt!

Maybe blunt head trauma will rattle you enough to get through, until then NOBODY GIVES A DAMN OR WANTS TO HEAR ABOUT 100K ANYMORE. Dolby isn't the problem, you are because you are an arrogant... that doesn't know when to stop - which was about 100 posts ago.

And for the last fscking time, that's including monitor etc. Which puts your system at around R45,000.00 too.

8.1 now? Thought it was 7.1 .. with 90% of titles only having 5.1. What 7.1 titles do you actually own?

The first thing I did when I got my TV a few weeks ago, was hook up the PS3 and try a few games and BR. After your all comments, I thought this thing *must* be great and I'm missing half the movie without a PS3!

Hooked it up, loaded up and ... um ... yea was ok *shrug*
