So again, sorry if it grates anyone, If someone try to shoot down a R20K system with a 100K comparison system as answer then thats his problem (whether it's was non existent or not). I will remind him of that at any point and time as I choose fit. He compared the Sony+PS3 with the 100K system not me! Live with it.

So 200? and counting. and practically every 2'nd new BluRay title that will come out, then there is of course the posibility to upconverting to 7.1 or 9.1 from 5.1 .... Wait, what model receiver do you have?
 
Ok.. IAP upconverting does not make it 7.1 or 9.1 or 912143097234507987345.1238...

Its still 5.1 regardless of whatever upconverting you do.

How can you NOT understand this?

Also he claims that because he has DTS Master 7.1 lossless sound, he can hear the difference like night and day - and anyone can not comment until they've heard this ultrarealistic sound played over the PS3 with holographic images.

We've all missed what he see's and hears

IAP refuses to believe of the 2000+ Blu Ray movies, 80% of them only have 5.1 lossless sound and not the 8 channel sound he so often brags about hearing (those are less than 10%)
 
If you've been on the forums long enough, you know that IAP is our resident troublemaker.

Don't you dare badmouth that sexy black box or you'll get a tongue lashing from the good ol' penguin.

The human ear in incapable of differentiating between lossy and lossless sound (IIRC) and even if you have studio quality equipment, it doesn't make much of a difference. High quality 5.1 vs. lossy 7.1...I'll be damned if I could tell the difference.
