Xbox One warranty

Does anyone know how the Xbox one warranty works? I logged a warranty claim on my power unit and the only delivery option was self shipping? Does this mean someone will come and fetch the unit because there is no service centre listed for South Africa?

Secondly, I got this via the black friday deal, the warranty is only valid for 8 months (Oct 2015), but I only got the unit in January. Any idea how to rectify?
 
Microsoft, fun times. Take it to where you bought it?

ok a tad old. anyhow the service centre is in edenvale, but yeh they send a courier with a replacement and you give them the fried one. Doesnt matter where you purchased the xbox
