Xbox Series X / S

So 2nd hand then, after you play test?

Have to make sure you don't give a broken present ;)

(Ample time to return for swap out before 7 day strait swap ware our...) After 7 days some company's send for repair under guarantee instead of swap.

Very good point gents, very good point

There's now reviews aplenty of the consoles!

Will post reviews from a South African site:

Makes me think MS should have price the SS at $250 instead of $300

Well in SA we paying $450 for the dam thing

Now if we truly paid $300 (R4700) it would hit the spot perfectly.

That said... the more I see reviews on it the more it hits the spot for me. I think Reviewers/Youtubers review them via hardcore gamer eyes instead of casual gamer... Honestly as it is now I think I'll probably have like 2 games installed on it at most... Big black box would be such a waste in my house.

By pricing the PS5 DE at $399 Sony has eaten into the value proposition of the Xbox SS, I can't see the 512SSD expansion costing less than $99 which would make a SS with 1TB data will virtually cost as much a PS5DE

I think MS will have to reduce the price of the SS to at least $249
$249 in the US will translate to just under translate to the SS costing R5999 using the current method MS us using for SA.

Personally I don't see the value in a PS5 Digital Edition, esp when it locks you into Sony's overpriced online store.
Microsoft has GamePass to counter their lock-in.

2 things most people miss about the Series S. A. You can play previous gen games off a normal HD/SSD and B. the $220 Expansion is not going to be the only drive on the market and like all things tech related, prices will drop over time.

That said I will never say no to a lower price :)

Serious fomo but said I'd only purchase if I played regularly on my Xbox which I haven't done for a while.
Hopefully I'll treat myself for Christmas

To the guys who have not played Star Wars Fallen Order, it is coming out on 10 November on EA Play meaning it will also be on Ultimate Game Pass.

That's freaken awesome. I actually forgot that EA Play was coming to Game Pass until it was mentioned yesterday.

It's difficult to decide what to play when I get the new console. I'm thinking of players Gears Tactics first, then Star Wars Fallen Order and then The Medium. Will see how things go.

I think the Medium is delayed to December?
